You’ve tried to manage your mental health on your own, but still think there has to be more to life than this.
It’s frustrating to feel like you’re doing everything “right” and still not getting the relief you’re looking for.
Maybe you’re working hard in therapy, but it feels like there’s a wall you can’t get past, or you’ve tried medication before, and it either didn’t help enough or left you feeling worse.
You’re thoughtful about your health and open to exploring what really works for you, but it’s exhausting to keep trying without seeing the progress you need. When you’re constantly on edge, burned out, or stuck in a cycle of overthinking, it’s hard to feel like yourself—or to trust that things can get better.
You want a provider who works to truly understand your experiences, listens to your input, and can tailor a plan that helps you feel more in control and at ease in your life.
Medication can be a powerful tool on the path to healing.
Together, we’ll find the right medication, at the right dose, for the right amount of time that works for you.
Medication isn’t about masking who you are—it’s about giving you the support to manage your emotions without feeling overwhelmed or shutting down. It’s not a cure-all, and it works best when it’s tailored to your unique needs. Taking advantage of medication as a tool for wellbeing doesn’t make you weak, it can simply be one piece of your journey toward balance. Think of it as a way to help you experience the full range of your emotions in a way that feels manageable, not exhausting.
Finding the right medication can take a little trial and error, and that’s okay. With patience and a thoughtful approach, we’ll figure out what works best for you, whether that means staying on it long-term or transitioning off when the time feels right. Medication can even help you dig deeper in therapy, giving you the stability to heal from past experiences and make meaningful progress. You’re in control of this journey, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
How it works
Comprehensive care to find solutions that really work.
-
In our initial appointment, we'll take the time to really explore your story. We'll talk about your current experiences, things you've tried in the past, and what’s helped or hasn’t worked. Together, we’ll also look at any possible biological or medical factors that might play a role and discuss how past experiences could be connected to what you’re feeling now.
-
From there, we’ll explore a variety of options, including medication, therapies, lifestyle approaches, and even targeted lab testing or supplements. It’s not about choosing just one solution—it’s about how all these pieces can work together to help you feel more balanced and in control. I do recommend my patients work with a therapist alongside taking medication if they’re not already. I provide therapy services for those who want a comprehensive experience, but am happy to refer you to someone I trust if you’d prefer.
-
Our treatment plan will be flexible and built around your goals. We'll start with one step and adjust as we go, tracking how different approaches are helping with key areas like mood, sleep, anxiety, concentration, appetite, energy, or motivation. Follow-ups every 1–3 months give us a chance to fine-tune the plan, and we’ll also keep an eye on your biological health with periodic lab tests. If there ever comes a time when you feel ready to try life without medication, we’ll create a plan to taper off gradually and comfortably.

I can prescribe medications for anxiety, depression, and some related concerns like sleep or focus issues that often come alongside these struggles. If medication is part of your care, we’ll work together to make sure it feels right for you.

I recommend being in therapy, even if it’s not with me. Having a therapist you connect with can make a big difference in how supported and grounded you feel. I’m happy to refer you to a therapist I trust if you’d prefer to work with someone outside of my practice.

I’m not the best fit for someone who doesn’t want to stick to a mutually agreed upon treatment plan. I do not provide care for people who are actively abusing substances, or seeking detox or rehab treatment. I also don’t provide care for those recently hospitalized for mental health or with a history of repeated hospitalizations, violence or serious suicide attempts. Everyone deserves care, and I’d be happy to help connect you with someone better suited to meet those needs.
